Welcome to Amber Dates ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services as a licensed insurance producer and commissioned Maryland notary public. Use of this website does not create an attorney-client relationship. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to refuse notarization services for any signer who can not provide valid identification and/or answers to knowledge-based authentication (KBA) questions for remote services. 

Services Provided

We offer a range of services, including but not limited to:

Insurance policy consultation, application, and management.

Notarization of documents in accordance with Maryland law.

Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old.

Provide accurate and complete information, including valid unexpired identification and answers to knowledge-based authentication (KBA) questions for remote services. 

Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

Insurance Services

Consultation and Application

We provide consultation services to help you understand and select appropriate insurance policies.

You are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information in your applications.

Policy Management

We assist in managing your insurance policies, including renewals, claims, and changes.

It is your responsibility to notify us of any changes in your personal or insurance information.

Notary Services

We provide notary services in compliance with Maryland state law.

You must provide valid identification and any necessary documentation for notarization.

We reserve the right to refuse notarization if legal requirements are not met.

Fees and Payments

Fees for our services are outlined in our fee schedule, which is available upon request.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and checks.

Cancellation and Refunds

Insurance Services: Cancellations and refunds are subject to the terms of the specific insurance policy and the issuing insurance company.

Notary Services: Fees for notary services are generally non-refundable once the service has been provided.

Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.

We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the services in question.

Privacy

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

The arbitration will take place in Maryland, and the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website and updating the "Effective Date" at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
